The Masakhane African Languages Hub  (“the Hub”) is a new initiative to address the critical  underrepresentation and misrepresentation of African languages in  artificial intelligence (AI). We invite researchers, practitioners, and community builders to apply to our current open call for proposals and help shape the future of African language AI.

Le Hub des langues africaines Masakhane (« le Hub ») est une nouvelle initiative visant à remédier à la sous-représentation et à la mauvaise représentation critiques des langues africaines dans l’intelligence artificielle (IA). Nous invitons chercheurs, praticiens et acteurs communautaires à soumettre leur candidature à notre appel à propositions en cours et à contribuer à l’avenir de l’IA pour les langues africaines.
